A native to metro Atlanta, I grew up in Tucker, Georgia and as a child and teenager, I loved art. I began taking art classes at six years old. When I was 16, I entered an art contest and received a scholarship to SCAD, which inspired me to pursue a career in design. I decided to attend art school at The University of Georgia, where I received a BFA in Graphic Design.
My career spans 16 years, and I've done a little bit of everything. From starting off as a static web designer in 2004 to working for PR and marketing agencies, I've touched all design mediums at some point. My design expertise includes print and marketing communications, publication design, web and social media design, logo and brand development and trade show signage. From Fortune 500 companies to other well known brands, I've worked with clients such as Campbell Soup Company, Clorox, Cox Automotive, Crowne Plaza, McDonalds, Mohawk Flooring, NBA.com, The Coca-Cola Company, The Home Depot, UPS and Walmart.
In 2017 I moved from the big city to the suburbs with my husband and daughter, and I currently work for myself as a freelance designer. Take a look at my resume and portfolio and see if we might be a good fit!
